The Alien Queen
The light glistens harshly on your smooth black surface.
Your hardened exterior protects the world from what you hold inside,
But we both know that you want what every mother wants:
For her children to be safe. For her children's needs to be met.
It's only a matter of time. We have resigned ourselves to our futures.
Your seed has been planted. Our time is limited, and there is no one to help us.
One last meal.
One last conversation.
