March Peaches and Petals Unboxing!

March 2016 Peaches and Petals Unboxing!

I have been anxiously awaiting this Peaches and Petals box since I first saw other subscribers posting theirs on instagram. I really liked what I saw, and was hoping that the boxes didn't deviate too much from person to person.

So, let's get started on the contents, shall we?

This is what the box looks like before you open it, for those who've never subscribed. I like that I don't have to cut through 90 layers of tape to open the seam, you just slide it open.

The goods! Everything comes packaged to make sure things don't smash or break. Which is great, because they've been sending a lot of breakables the past few months, and everything arrives intact every time :)

The first item is a power bank. There isn't a brand anywhere on the box, and it didn't come with instructions. If I didn't already have a decent grasp on what these were for, I wouldn't have known how to use this. I charged it up, and I'm letting it charge an old Galaxy Note that I let Galen play Minecraft on, so we'll see how it works. The cord that came with it is a little stiff, and the port wasn't an easy fit.

Next up, Sassy Frass "Splatter Paint" bath bomb. There has been a great "self care" theme for the past few months with these boxes that I am ABSOLUTELY loving. So, when I saw the bath bomb, I was ready to abandon my family and go soak in the tub. Considering that it was 4pm, and there wasn't another adult there to watch the kids, that would have been bad, so I waited until after bedtime.
I wanted to love this SO much. I love bath bombs, because they are soothing. This one was definitely skin softening. There was very little scent. But holy CRAP was there ever glitter. I shouldn't say "was" because after a scrub down shower, it's still all over my hair and in my elbows. :/  Most of the rest of their store looks pretty decent.

These little colored pencils go with the coloring book. I don't know if they're the same brand, but they're about the size of golf pencils, and the lid has a built-in sharpener. The colors are nice (not prismacolors by a long shot, but they'll do in a pinch), and the cup they come in is pretty convenient.

This is...it's probably wonderful. It's serum for hair repair, and I would probably love it to the ends of the earth if I had hair anymore. This was my bonus item for being a long-time subscriber. At least it wasn't razors again!

Next up is eyemajic instant eyeshadow by majic beauty. I haven't tried these yet, but I like the color and I am going to try them in the morning, and post on instagram!

Here is a new pouch, either to use as a clutch or a makeup bag. It's cute, and not too stiff. I don't know what else to say about this, because Ipsy has really set the bar on adorable makeup bags. Sorry!

Next up, Everyone Loves Coloring Mandalas by Bendon Publishing. It's a typical adult coloring book of mandalas, but I think that's the point. It's not about uniqueness of the design because you're supposed to make it unique with your colors ;)

Finally, my fave. This cute little mug that says "Be a froot loop in a world of cheerios". It doesn't have a brand on it, and had a sticker that said "made in china" on it. So, it's probably not handcrafted. Which, isn't necessary, TBH. But, it's super cute. I'm definitely going to be using it tomorrow!

And, that's it!  It was a pretty decent month. Not as awesome as January or February, but I do feel like I've been a little spoiled by them, haha.

The cost for the boxes as of April 1 are $19.99 per month as a single subscription. Paying in 3, 6, or 12 month increments doesn't really get you a deal, it's just one less thing to remember. So, while this month wasn't as exciting, for me, as last month, I still love most of what was in there!
